The 5 large boxes of blankets are actually 9 boxes and a couple of large bags. I need the folks who offered to help transport this wonderful donation to meet me at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. We are going to load these blankets and go directly down to the Broadway Bridge to distribute. Should be able to get most of you unloaded by 6 or 6:30. After we confirm that you can still help on this, I will message the address with directions. Here are the transport folks that indicated earlier that they would be able to meet at 4:30: Linda Lee Holt Moore, Cullum Nicki, Melissa Stogsdill, and Saundra Gibbs. Please confirm that you are still available and I will message directions to you. I so appreciate Vance Marker as he is the only male muscle man that we have assisting, so if any of you can draft another male to help with these boxes ..... Everyone else who has items that they want to distribute to the homeless, just load up and meet us down there. A class from UALR will also be under the bridge conducting surveys for the annual homeless count, and a church from the Broadway Bridge Project will be there providing a meal. Since it will be pretty active down there Tuesday night, we will go to the far side of the parking lot so we are not in the other folks way. We should be finished and out pretty quickly. If someone has time after we finish there, we might take a load around on the street, etc. - I only need one vehicle for this.
