The 7th edition of the 470 Climate Sailing Regatta took place in Switzerland on Zurich Lake, between the 4th and 5th of October 2014, on a sunny autumn weekend with a light breeze. The Swiss 470 Association contributes to the reduction of CO2 emitted by individual traffic by asking the competitors to travel by public transportation. This year 20 crews from all over Switzerland took part in the Regatta, competing on the 10 boats that were provided by the local sailors. The crews split into gold and silver fleets after sailing 4 qualification races. The informations were provided by Christian Sprecher who won the regatta together with helms-woman Alexa Bezel.
