The AIIMT team coordinating out of Skyview High School issued a brief update on the fire: -An advisory for Funny River Road is in effect due to erratic fire behavior in the area. All travelers are requested to avoid the area if possible. -An evacuation advisory is still in effect along the Sterling Highway and in Kasilof, as winds and dry conditions may lead to an evacuation order in the next 12-24 hours. -Residents are asked to plan ahead for alternate shelter in the case of an evacuation order, as well as accommodations for pets.
