The Affordable Care Act requires anyone that qualifies for premium - TopicsExpress

The Affordable Care Act requires anyone that qualifies for premium subsidies to enroll through healthcare.gov. You only have one chance to select an agent when youre enrolling. If you dont select the option for receiving assistance you will be on your own throughout the rest of the process. The plans arent easy to compare. As an agent who has seen the process I can tell you that youll want all of the help you can get. Its much more complicated to select the correct plan than the previous way individual health insurance was sold. Healthcare.gov does not do a good job of explaining that reduced out of pocket caps for those who qualify are only included in the Silver level plans. If you have questions with the process and havent registered yet contact Tim or enter mossinghoff for FFL ID and 5060263 for NPN so I can assist you. If you tried enrolling on your own and are having trouble understanding the differences in the plans, AND youre a current or prospective customer give me a call. And if you dont qualify for the premium subsidy, bypass healthcare.gov altogether and just send me an email or call me at 314-487-2921.
