The Afghan and Quilt Raffles begin today! Raffle tickets may be purchased now until December 18th at the McCloskey Winter Concert (7:00pm at UHS). Connie LaBounty has graciously donated two beautifully-made, cozy afghans and a generous, anonymous donor has given us three adorable, cuddle-worthy quilts: two infant-sized and one toddler-sized. These lovely heirlooms will be on display at the UHS and McCloskey winter concerts. (See the sneak peek photos below.) Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Checks are payable to Uxbridge Friends of Music. Each band member has been sent home with 12 tickets and a return envelope. We are asking each student to sell $10 worth of tickets. Please ask Mr. Hicks for additional tickets. Purchasers, please clearly print your name and phone number on each ticket, and print A for afghan or Q for quilt on the back of each ticket. If not specified, the ticket will be divided in half between the two. If everyone participates in this fundraiser, we can make a large dent in the funds we need to raise!
