The Ambiguity of Invisible Losses Lost within a this labyrinthine maze with no discernible boundaries; No familiar anchors. that have been taken away from me. There’s a tangible,visceral absence of closure. No ritual of grief or mourning to negotiate, to navigate the strange territory ahead. And the stumbling becomes a senseless, purposeless subjugation; to a vacuous ‘way of life’ void of any recognition of familiar awareness, from which there is no exit. Virtually enslaved to being ‘other-directed’. I’m aware of the loss of a myriad of ‘possessions’ I may have fecklessly taken for granted. Now, become Unidentified vanishings. Left adrift, Bewildered. In turmoil. A traumatic lapse in my anchoring orientation. Forfeiting my delusion of immortality; The disappearance of someone into the bottomless caverns of emptiness; Symptoms, side-effects and functional flaws never anticipated, never imagined. Being forced to confront my abject vulnerabilities. Disenfranchised of my humanity.
