The Annual Meeting of the Wyoming Association of Churches will be in Sheridan, September 27-28 with the theme of Faith-Action in Response to Poverty. Those interested in mission and outreach ministries may be especially interested. Congregations sending 3 or more persons get a discount. There will be workshops on Mobilizing Your Church for Justice, What Churches Need to Know about Poverty and What Churches Can Do About Poverty. Also, Tom Forslund, the director of the Wyoming Department of Health will speak about Medicaid Expansion – a program to help Wyoming’s uninsured working poor.
