The Annual Sunday 15th September 2013 The river level was normal with slight colour. The water temperature was 14 degrees C 1st M Williams Peg 53 39lbs 2ozs Mal fished the far bank at 1 o’clock a quarter down the swim. He fished 8lb reel line with a 6lb bottom and a No. 14 hook. He used a blockend feeder with Casters and Hemp seed. Mal caught 8 Barbel & 1 Dace and catching steadily throughout the match and did not loose any fish. Joint 2nd P Millard Peg 18A 17lbs 6ozs Pete did not provide any information as to where he fished. He fished 12lb reel line with a 10lb bottom and a No. 10 hook. Pete said that he used a Cage feeder and baited with white maggots and 10mm pellets. Pete caught 2 Barbel and 10 Chub and 2 Perch, catching 3 fish in the first hour, 1 in the 2nd, 4 in the 3rd and 4 in the 5th. Pete also lost 1 other fish. Joint 2nd R Dickinson Peg 54 17lbs 6ozs Rob fished the near side off the tree. He fished 8lb reel line with an 8lb bottom and a No. 12 hook. He used a blockend feeder with bronze maggots. Rob caught 3 Barbel, 1 Chub and 1 Dace catching 1fish in each of the first 2 hours and 2 in the last hour and also lost 1 other fish. 4th J Sidaway Peg 56 13lbs 10ozs John did not provide any information on where he fished or the tackle and bait that he used. He caught 1 Barbel, 2 Bream and 2 Perch.
