The BBC has a story about the death rates for our hospitals. I - TopicsExpress

The BBC has a story about the death rates for our hospitals. I wonder if that includes the people that wait over an hour for an ambulance. I am horrified to even think about what would happen if there was some kind of catastrophe! It seems that in certain areas of the NHS you need to be lucky to survive. I am also sure that in others the service is excellent. I am yet to experience this excellence and hope I never need to. My experience of doctors is very bad and I had to give up my old job as a Hypochondriac because of it! In more than 80% of my experiences whatever the doctor gave me did not help and 20% of the time it made the problem worse and or the side effects caused other issues that have become ongoing - small but niggling problems. My greatest fear is that I have a serious problem at the weekend when no one seems to be on duty and I am unconscious. Unfortunately I have to deal with many people with similar experiences to myself but regrettably for them their problem has been far more serious! I know there are good Doctors out there, unfortunately they are busy dealing with the backlash of the ones that are not! I think many people do not visit their doctor for fear of a error in judgement. I absolutely understand why, nobody wants to make a bad decision, this is so sad because our lives could be at stake! I am very sorry to be so negative on this subject but this post is based on years of experience!
