The Baltimore Sun hosted the Mobbie Awards tonight in Baltimore to celebrate myriad contributors to the social media scene. I would like to congratulate local bloggers, Eye On Annapolis and Naptown Pint who each won some kind of award for something that they do. Im sure they deserved some recognition for the adequate effort that they exert. Although lets bear in mind that its not like they cured Cancer or brought peace to the Middle East. But I digress. Good job, you two, for your little award. I was nominated for three separate awards and won exactly zero. In fact, I placed pretty far down the list. Which is fine, since I dont do this for the recognition. Which is obvious, because I received none. Not even an honorable mention. Or a gift card for Panera Bread. Or a teeshirt. Anyway. I guess there is always next year. But again, congratulations to Eye On Annapolis and Naptown Pint. Whether you won fair and square or you cheated, we dont care. You did us proud tonight.
