The Blood Line From the time of mankinds original sin in the Garden of Eden, atonement could only be made with blood: For the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible. Leviticus 17:11 (NLT). After Adam and Eves sin, God covered them with the skins of animals, whose innocent blood had been sacrificed for their sins. In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22 (NLT). When King Solomons Temple was built in Jerusalem, the blood of animals, without a blemish, flowed around the altar. This blood could only cover sins for one year. The sin that entered the world was put into every human; and only blood (life) being poured out could cover sins. The blood line continued through tens of thousands of innocent animals while Israel looked for the promised coming of the Messiah, Christ (The Anointed One). The blood on the door posts of the houses of the Jews in Egypt before their exodus from slavery was the type of the real sacrifice of Christ on the cross. That blood of Christ is applied to our door posts (our Minds). Thank the Lord God, Who sent His only Son (Jesus) to die in our place that we may have forgiveness of sins through the righteous blood of Yeshua (Jesus). For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is Gods wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this One Man, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 (NLT). For the love of The Messiah compels us to reason this: The One died in the place of every person; so then every person died with Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English). For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that One (Jesus) has died for all, therefore all have died; 2 Corinthians 5:14 (ESV). Come to Jesus; because only through His blood can you be cleansed from sins! So Jesus said again, I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. But anyone who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day. John 6:53-54 (NLT). Apply Jesus (Yeshuas) blood to your door post (your mind) and the death angel will pass over you. For Jesus is the One referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, The Stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:11-12 (NLT). The Blood Line stops at Christ!
