The Borderless Higher Education for Refugees (BHER) Projects Solar Lamps for University Students in Dadaab campaign has raised over $1,900 toward its goal. So far, thats enough to provide solar lamps to 45 students, giving them the freedom and ability to study at home and be successful in their pursuit of higher education. Thank you to everyone who has backed this campaign so far! But there is still work to be done! We are far from our goal of $16,500, enough to fund the purchase of solar lamps for almost 400 refugee and local students, and we need your help to get there. Contributions of any amount will go a long way to assisting students in need, particularly women students, for whom adequate lighting at home is essential if they are to complete their studies. Even small donations, when given by many supporters, can make a huge difference in peoples lives- If everyone in my friend list contributes $1, that will amount to almost $2000 which is equivalent to ~48 lamps.
