The British Council announces a call for applications for a series of Arts Management workshops planned to take place over a period of two months - September and October 2013 (Dates may change) Applicants should be managing a gallery or an art centre, art producers or festival managers. The deadline for applying is 20 August 2013. Workshops will be conducted in English, by a group of trainers’ specialised in Arts Management from the UK. Workshops will address topics on Strategic Management, Planning and Evaluation, Financial Management for Arts Organisations, and developing proposals. Application process: • Applicant should commit to attend all workshops • Applicant should be working in the field of Arts Management and have 1 – 3 years experience. • Applicant must enclose a valid passport • Applicant must attach Curriculum Vita that shows his/her experience in the cultural sector • Applicant must also include a letter that explains why they wish to attend the programme (approximately 250 words). At the end of the workshops, and upon receipt of an effective proposal, The British Council will support one exhibition to become a reality. THIS IS AN OPEN CALL Feel free to share
