The C.I.P. “Villa Xábia” born in May 2013 in the town, coinciding with the anniversary of his title as Villa. Its creator and Artistic Director , Natividad Ballarín , did it so with the main intention of motivating the study and reward the efforts of our young musicians , not only of our valencian community or national level, but also anywhere in the world, bringing its embodiment in a intercultural and outstanding scenery , as Xábia’s is. Following the success of the First Edition of the Contest, and in the spirit of being able to improve year after year later editions , an association, APAM, which will be responsible from now of its organization, was born. This change allows to achieve higher goals such as: - Inclusion in the Alink – Argerich Foundation - Increasing Sponsors and thus cash prizes - To include a new category of competition - Carrying out high level learning activities linked to the Contest Always focused all the greatest benefit of the participant.
