The CA Assembly Public Safety Committee has approved SB 1262 (Correa/Ammiano), with the understanding that substantial amendments from Chairman Ammiano will be included. Chairman Ammiano has now joined as a Principal Co-Author of the bill. The amended bill goes next to Appropriations, and then on to the floor for a vote by the full Assembly.
