The CHURCH, the BODY OF CHRIST, is a combination of redeemed human beings. We are vessels of fleshly bodies filled with the Holy Spirit of God and Christ. Any buildings WHICH we build are for shelter and assembling for fellowship and teaching. We dont necessarily need a building and we can share and use many buildings/places/auditoriums/homes. The Bible is our only material thing needed for our common sharing in functioning as the BODY OF CHRIST. You can see that Satan gets us off course by dividing we us into buildings, equipment, and their upkeep. Id guess that many of us were saved in a place other than a church building. I was saved in a tent. Lets get our eyes off of buildings, small or great, and on each other as the BODY OF CHRIST.
