Late 21st century history books will describe how the great American empire was brought down by a mass exodus of common sense. Example: if you go out an emergency exit door without proper authorization you will be arrested and prosecuted. If you sneak across our border without proper authorization you will be given all sorts of freebies and amnesty. So we can trust the judgment of those sneaking into our country but cannot trust our citizens to properly exit a building.
