The Caddo Parish School Board is meeting now to attempt to elect a new Superintendent. The Citizens Advisory Committee has issues its report and according to Chairman Joe Gant the Committee voted 17-2 to recommend John Dilworth. The Committee also recommended that whoever is elected the Board must work with that person in order for any Superintendent to be successful and the Committee recommended the Committee remain in place to serve as an Advisory Committee to the new Superintendent. The three teacher organizations have banded together to issue a joint report. They are issuing a statement at this point and there is one other speaker scheduled.
