The Cambodia Davis Cup tennis team, sponsored by Nagaworld, will do battle with the Malaysia Davis Cup team today in Iran for a chance to top Pool A and qualify for the semi final spot and another shot for promotion to Group 2 of the Asia / Oceania division. Cambodia had lost 2-1 to Syria on Day 1 but won against Turkmenistan yesterday 2-1. Hence todays game with Malaysia will be decisive if they wish to get shot in the semi-finals. In Pool B, Iran, Lebanon, UAE and Singapore will do battle for top 2 spots in the group to get a shot at semi-finals. Top 2 of each Pool will meet on Saturday to decide which team gets promotion to Group 2 of the Asia Oceania division next year while bottom teams of each pool will get demoted to Group 4 of the Asia / Oceania division for next year.
