The Catangnan elementary school is one of the most long standing projects of RCBM now for over 7 years.We have aided in supplying water,books(small library), repairs to walls,doors ect.,fans.lights and even electricity when they had none(at the beginning).Most recently for year 2014-15 we have constructed a new exterior cinder block fencing and with the aid of First Flight Rotary club of Kill Devil Hills ,N.C., U.S.A. and the C9/Surf Angels company of Siargao have now supplied the school with its first audio,video equipment ever!!The teachers and principal are so happy to be remembered as they are so far away from the mainstream.This poor rural school now has a brand new Dell computer system,monitor,sound system and a 3 way Brother copier to aid in their task of teaching these 125 kids(preschool to 6th grade) in their 3 classroom schoolhouse....We will continue our efforts to aid those in need,after all thats why we are Rotarians!
