The Charleston Police Department in conjunction with Stand Up Charleston will host a Town Hall Meeting concerning the residents and business community of Team 4 (West Ashley area). The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary School, 1871 Wallace School Rd, Charleston, SC, 29407. The meeting will be held in an open house format from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is to: To relate the partnership of “Stand Up Charleston” and the Charleston Police Department to “Build a better community, neighbor to neighbor and business to business”. Distribute informational flyers to all participants to attract other residents, neighbors and businesses to participate in making their city a safer place to live. The Police Department will share some of the strategies and successes used to decrease and eliminate violent crime in our city. Introduce to the residents and businesses, the Officers that patrol their respective neighborhoods and areas to address crime and quality of life issues. Allow participants to formulate written questions to panelists via moderators that will facilitate the meeting.
