The Christian life is not a cake walk When we cross the line between unbelief and faith we enter into what the Bible calls spiritual warfare. We have an enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). I say this not to frighten anyone but to assert the trurth of the Word of God. I dont see Satan behind every tree and bush. I cannot blame every bad thing in my life upon him. But be aware that he hates God and hates you for living for God. It is not necessary to be overwhelmed by this adversary, but to acknolwedge he truly exists. But our big brother is far greater and stronger and able to give victory by defeating the bully for us. By ourselves we are very easy prey. Depending on Jesus to win our battles is affective and sure. Far greater is He (Jesus) in us, than he (the devil) who is in he world. We are in a pitched battle, we lose every time by ourselves. Victory is ours when we determing to depend in the power of Christ who has overcome the world. JUST SO YOU KNOW.
