The City Health Dept did a good job with the Hepititis vaccine dissemination at the local public school, where I attained mine this evening. I wonder how often there are incidents like this that never get reported- after all, the illness is not uncommon, food preparation is one of the lower economic jobs available, and why would an entity want to admit that one of their workers might be ill, when it ruins whatever reputation the place may have? I applaud the supermarket for admitting that there was a problem, I highly doubt many places would have bothered- they would have pretended it never occurred, just like they never hired the person off-the-books who had the illness, or have the practices in the food establishment that they have.
