The City of Victorville is so stupid, it blows my mind. If they installed two cameras with live feed being recorded 24/7 at the intersection right next to my office they could get the city budget back on track in a matter of 6 months! Out of 30 cars in about 10 minutes MAYBE 1 makes a complete stop at the STOP sign to turn RIGHT. Most slow down just enough to verify theres nobody coming then cruise right on... With THAT kind of statistic, they could EASILY send out several hundred tickets to all the losers who dont care to follow the rules because theyre special. SPECIAL NEEDS, clearly. Those turning LEFT are only stopping because of cross-road traffic. Most of the ones who cruise up to the sign and see that its clear ALSO just keep going. What is WRONG with all those special people?!? I bet a few tickets they cant weasel out of would get them to stop again! Last week when I was walking to the store I was approaching a 4-way stop intersection and I witnessed a car driving right through the intersection without even slowing down! Good grief people! AND... PUT YOUR DAMN CELL PHONES AWAY WHEN YOURE DRIVING!!! I lost count of how many green-light cycles I missed because someone in front of me was preoccupied with their damn phone! NOBODY is THAT important that you cant live without being glued to your phone for a while.
