The City of Ypsilanti approves contract agreement with the - TopicsExpress

The City of Ypsilanti approves contract agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) for a grant to develop the Ypsilanti River’s Edge linear Park and Trail on the Water Street property. The grant amount is $292,000 and the match of $292,000 is being provided by the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission (WCPRC). The trail will be a part of the Border to Border Trail and the project will consist of the construction of the trail along the Huron River, a fishing pier, an overlook and related landscaping. Construction will be in 2014 in conjunction with the Bridge project across the Huron River.
