The Creative and Cultural Skills, Arts Council for Northern Ireland held workshops for our Construction Level 1 students from the Millfield and Castlereagh campuses at the Crescent Art Centre this week. These workshops gave the students the opportunity to see how they can progress their careers within the creative industry sector. Students were given a talk on set design by John Comiskey, Light and Set Design Director at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin. Jo Maund (Prop Designer) gave the students an insight into how props are made and they even got to make their own intestine props!
