The D49.org Digital Backpack was just updated with some summer events. Register by July 1 to participate in the Colorado Youth Football League with Falcons Football. Players between the ages of 5 and 12 are organized into teams to compete on 100-yard fields in youth tackle football. Its organized under the Amateur Athletic Union and adheres to CHSAA rules and the Heads Up Football Program. Falcons Football is currently building teams for the fall season. Children in first through seventh grades can participate in Kids University at UCCS in July. Classes include A Whale of a Tale, where children learn about ocean life; Artistic Adventures, where they study how to transform ideas into art; Money 101, how making money, advertising and marketing works with technology; Story Detectives, investigating the art of writing a story; as well as several others. Students of all skill levels can join the Team Colorado Volleyball summer clinics today -- space is limited. Focus on saving, hitting, setting or gain a greater overall set of skills. Enroll now for Bricks 4 Kidz summer camps, which encourage curiosity, creativity and cognitive development using children-orientated tools: LEGO bricks.
