The Dbacks win behind Corbins solid start. He looked good again and got a much deserved win. Tuffy had 2 Doubles tonight and Owings had another hit and a Stolen Base. The pen looked good tonight also with scoreless appearances from Roe, Hernandez and Ziegler finishing it off with his 10th save of the season. There is an off day tomorrow and then the Dbacks head home to play the Rockies in a 3 game weekend series. It is Miggy Bobble Head night at Chase Field on Saturday and I will likely be at the game to add to my bobble head collection so I will have a back up admin posting on Saturday, but that is 2 days away and my focus is on the next game which is Friday. Should be a decent pitching match-up between Chatwood and McCarthy but you never know when the Dbacks and Rockies play, it could be a slug fest. The Dbacks swept the Rockies in 3 games last time they played and the Dbacks out scored the Rockies 22-2 behind Skaggs, Miley, and Corbins stellar starts. Goldy had a 4 hit game tonight also and is creeping back up to .300. If Goldy is going to have a shot at the MVP he needs his average to above .300 and he is 4 points away. It is always good to beat LA, the Dbacks might not have won the series but they regained control of the season series and now lead it 8-7 and are 6-3 at Chavez Latrine. Go Dbacks!
