The Department of Education’s interference in our education systems through the Common Core State Standards is clearly unconstitutional under the Tenth Amendment. Furthermore, it is in the best interest of our students and parents for officials at the local and state level – who know the children in their jurisdictions far better than any Washington bureaucrat – to make decisions regarding academic content standards.
