The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) is pleased to announce that there will be a “Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Health Fair” at the Micronesia Mall on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the Micronesia Mall from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme for this year’s health fair is ““Promoting Parent Power: Be Your Child’s Super Hero”. Exhibitors from various private, public and governmental organizations will be showcasing their respective programs and services available to you the public. DPHSS, DOE Head Start, Catholic Social Services, Guam WIC Program, Guma Mami, Inc. and many more agencies and programs will be on display. Learn more about your baby’s health, postpartum and parenting concerns, and the benefits of breastfeeding, nutrition for moms and children, adolescent health care, smoking cessation and exercise to keep fit.
