The Detroit Lions were phenomenal on defense yesterday (WOW) and it was suggested to me earlier this season by Michael Parr that if the defense kept this performance up that my angst over taking a TE at #10 overall would be completely unfounded, because I wanted them to take a defensive back with that pick. Now six weeks in, with 10 catches on 20 targets for 103 yards and ONE touchdown, its clear that Eric Ebron is riding the train to Bust-Land, either because he sucks, or because the coaches are not sold on his ability. Yesterday, with no Calvin Johnson and no Reggie Bush, it would have been a perfect shot to get Ebron involved and yet George Winn saw more attention than he did. The Detroit Lions are winning games with their defense (again, WOW), in spite of Eric Ebrons Invisible Man impression.
