The Diary of Pink Pearl, A Birds Eye View The Series Introduction by Jes Fuhrmann When I was a young girl, growing up in Northern California, one of my friends had this really amazing dad who build a large koi pond in his backyard as well as an indoor/outdoor aviary where all there budgerigars use to fly around. I used to spend as much time over there as possible, fishing for the koi with a pole that he put together where he would wrap up food in a stocking at the end of a long string and wed dip it into the water where an opportunistic fish would inevitably grab it and refuse to let go!! I used to imagine that I could live that dream someday.... Marry a man that was so full of love and life and have a dream home like that and than I met Pearl, shortly I created a pond for Bristella, our rescued Northwestern pond turtle and I was like, Wow! Ill bet I can build an indoor/outdoor aviary like the one they had and really live my childhood fantasy for REAL!! And then one after the other, Pink Pearls Parrot Rescue began to unfold before my very eyes and I thought, No way!!! This is too good to be true!! But it was... And so I wrote about it and heres a video to prove it to you: youtu.be/PvhGIIry4oQ Respectfully yours, Jes Fuhrmann, author The Diary of Pink Pearl, A Birds Eye View (First trilogy of a three part series about a Moluccan cockatoo.
