The Energy Department’s Green Racing initiative just got greener. This past weekend at the 12 Hours of Sebring race in #Florida, NASCARs International Motor Sports Association (#IMSA), a Green Racing partner, announced INEOS Bio as the supplier of cellulosic #ethanol to fuel cars in the #TUDOR Championship series. Last year, INEOS Bio was the first #biorefinery in #US history to produce commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol, successfully converting wood scraps, palm fronds and other vegetative waste into transportation fuels.
