The England Under-21 international has scored five times in 13 appearances for the Teessiders, three of them in his last four games, and is keen for Jose Mourinho to agree to manager Aitor Karankas request to keep him. Bamford told the Evening Gazette: At the moment, Im only here until the New Year, but Im keen to stay. I like it here, I like the manager. He believes in me, which is important, so I dont think theres any reason for me to go back. Bamford has been used in a variety of positions during his spell at Boro to date, playing as a lone frontman, off a central striker or in a wide position, and he insists he has not been fazed by the challenge. He said: Ive played all along the frontline, but I dont mind that. Ive played all those roles so far in my career and Im comfortable in all of them.
