“The Eternal Purpose of God for the Christian Believer” part 3 Eph. 3:1-13. The heavenly beings were affected by the mystery of Christ (Eph. 3:10-12) for it brought salvation for the lost. They are amazed at what God is doing in the church. The world is finding out about the grace of God and the death of Jesus through the witness of the church. The goal is for the world to see the love of God and His wisdom (Rom. 11:33) and that all will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Phil. 2:5-6). The heavenly beings are amazed at God’s eternal purpose in Christ Jesus how He has saved all who have come to Him (2 Tim. 1:9). One more thing has the heavenly beings amazed, how the believers have access to the presence of God, which has been given by and through Christ (John 10:9). All saints have been made right with God the Father through the death of Jesus (Rom. 5:1-2). Lastly, suffering for the cause of Jesus Christ was glorious to Paul. He worked hard and long to see people saved everywhere even when it caused him pains and suffering. All believers ought to be willing to give themselves over to the cause of Christ.
