The Faasamoa is very interesting and for me also it is sometimes hilarious =D People fight over chief titles and ownership of customary lands at the Land and Titles Court everyday lol I think its probably the busiest Court ever in the History of Samoa. A massive gathering was held at Niuula a land vested under the chief title Maualaivao which is one of the paramount titles in my village of Malie and also one of the titles my old man holds. 7 different families from my village were against the building of the Sa Maualaivao family home on Niuula. Along my old man was Maualaivao Albert Wendt with the full support of the Aiga Sa Maualaivao. It was one of those cases where the whole village went to witness the trial as it was actually held at Niuula. People were excited about it. While everyone went to Niuula I was on FB having fun knowing that my old man is alright. He was born to do this for his family. As one of the Samoan sayings O Samoa o le atunuu tofi So the verdict will be called sometime next week and my dearest Maualaivao Pepe Seiuli is already in Nadi Fiji LOL...he left in the early hrs of the morning ...missing my old man
