The Fathers Love The hammering of nails I can hear the sound The sins of the world are weighing him down A crowd cried out crucify Him Not knowing He came to die for them Words of hate filled the air For it was the sin of man that nailed Him there The devil had thought the battle was won When the world had slain Gods only son But nobody knew the power of the cross Would be able to redeem the lives of the lost As my savior arose from the depths of the grave He proved that only He had the power to save The burden of sin no longer shall we fear As the debt has been paid and the path made clear For we will never find a greater love Then what has been given unto us from our Father above
