The Final Piece of the Puzzle BREAKING NEWS: The Believers FC are elated to announce the signing of Co-Founder/Manager/Captain Sam Kobal. Kobal is known as a lethal striker throughout Europe making appearances at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. Kobal’s goal scoring record is second to none; last year alone scoring on average 6.2 goals per game. Kobal, born in Canberra, Australia, was able to kick a soccer ball before he could speak. Throughout his childhood he was always regarded as future star, before joining the AIS academy at age 7. Off the field, Kobal just as flamboyant as he is on, never photographed with the same model twice. This reputation has brought into question his ability to cope with the enormous responsibility that awaits him at Believers FC, however Kobal has reassured fans that he has ‘taken a step back from that life to focus on what really matters; futsal’. Hi Sam, thanks for joining us today… So what drew you to The Believers? Thanks guys it’s a pleasure. Well to be honest after a disappointing result last season with the dreaming donkeys. I really wanted to leave my mark as a powerhouse in this competition. As manager, what are your expectations for this upcoming season? Well qualifying for the champion’s league is a must which means a top four finish. I think that we are more than capable of winning the league. Do you feel you’ve prepared enough for the season? I was expecting another week of training but like all true champions I was born ready. Who are you most looking forward to playing with? In all honesty the team selection was based around skill and personality. I am privileged to be playing with such a special group of people/. Besides hanging around with the rich and famous, what do you do in your spare time? I am a FIFA fanatic and you’ll often find me at Daniel Fleming’s house teaching him some lessons on how to play. I am a avid goon collector and cannot say no to a cask of Fruity Lexia’s Finest. Any final comments? As long as you have life and breath, believe. Believe for those who cannot.
