The Flag I am an old Thai woman, born Oct 1935. born to learn Learn about American since Korean War and Vietnam War (thanks McCain) and Desert Storms...Have been visited forty two States in United States of America. I met Americans by Missionaries since 1960 and I met U.S. Marine in JUSMAGTHAI..believe or not, some are still keepin In Touch....Thanks God.. From Fort Ord to Camp Pendleton...Ive found more Marines, and some of them became Law Enforcement in North County of San Diego..Happened to one morning, in Camp Pen. the trumpet sound and Marines was showing respect How to display an American Flag on the Pole Every one on the street Stop and placed their hand on the their heart. I asked the man who standing next from me, are you patriot? I am former Marine, yes, I love my country. Am I a radical patriot? No, But I know that when the National Anthem is playing, citizens are to at least stop what they are doing, face the direction the music is coming from or direction of the Flag if it is displayed. You show respect....The Law of the Land....The Flag represnt the Nation
