The Flying Doctor and Bond University have partnered to deliver an Australian first in retrieval medicine post graduate studies. Offering both a Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Retrieval Medicine, this program of study is designed for medical practitioners, nurses and paramedics already working in, or interested in a career in retrieval medicine. Retrieval and transport of critically ill patients remains one of the most challenging aspects of modern medicine. Practitioners must have a broad range of critical care skills and be able to apply them in highly restrictive and unpredictable environments. The flexible, part-time delivery of the program has been designed specifically for those actively working in the healthcare sector.
