Transferring nine Transpennine trains to Chiltern Railways = more seats? Dont think so. No mention of any East Lancashire routes in todays Government announcement, so lets carry on with our Clitheroe Line rattlers and ghost trains from Burnley to Manchester. Its time to end the franchising farce that allows railway operators to cream off profits to foreign state owned rail companies while squeezing more revenue out of customers.
