The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court is a sham and fraud. There is in essence no real check on government surveillance. The court operates ex parte, on the initiation of the government. Internet service providers and other telecommunications companies virtually never challenge this court--with the one time exception of Yahoo. I wonder if any of us private citizens, as customers of AOL, Google, etc. have standing to challenge the unconstitutional intrusions of the government. I believe that we can sue these providers for their negligence in not objecting to the government.
