The Franklin County Coroner has released names of the victims in the fatal accident Saturday in Blue Ridge Summit that left five people dead and several injured. 32-year-old Douglas Hoffer and 27-year-old Colleen Nesbitt were on one of the motorcycles involved in the crash, and 67-year-old David Russell and 53-year-old Michelle Russell were on the other motorcycle. Another victim, 68-year-old Marjorie Smith, was a passenger in the SUV that collided head-on with the two motorcycles. According to the coroner, for unknown reasons [the SUV] crossed the center line striking one motorcycle. The SUV then and rotated and hit another motorcycle. All five victims were from PA, but not from the 4-state area. WHAGs Patricia Martellotti will have a follow up report on this story tonight at 11.
