The Gamma Phi Chapter Clyde “Mully B” Mullins Endowed Scholarship is established within the Alabama A&M University Foundation by the Alumni Brothers of the Gamma Phi Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. The Gamma Phi Chapter Clyde “Mully B” Mullins Endowed Scholarship will be generously funded by initiates of the Gamma Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and other members of the fraternity, along with loving AAMU alumni who he touched along the way, and friends and family of Mr. Mullins. This fund is being set up to carry on the legacy of Mr. Mullins, who helped a number of students meet their financial needs required to achieve their educational objectives through his generosity and motivating and friendly spirit. Paper work has been submitted to the AAMU foundation to establish the account. Now we need Gamma Phi brothers to dig deep into their hearts and help AAMU achieve an increase in alumni giving by giving in our name. I am hopeful that we can blow this up quickly and surpass the requirements to mature the fund in short order, so it can start producing scholarships that are much needed by our students and the Gamma Phi undergraduate Brothers. Box 1867, Normal, AL 35762. We as members and Kappa Alpha Psi, and moreover Gamma Phi Chapter initiates have lots to be proud of this year. At this year’s Conclave, Gamma Phi received the prestigious Edward Giles Irvin Undergraduate Large Chapter of the Year Award. Brother Waylon Sims, Gamma Phi Advisor also received the large Chapter Advisor of the Year Award. Being there to witness and receive these awards was a most proud moment for me as a Kappa Man. I could only imagine what Mr. Mullins was saying when his chapter, our chapter, Gamma Phi, was called out as the recipient by Grand Polemarch Bates during awards the presentations. Brothers, the Gamma Phi undergraduate Brothers are making us proud at all levels. They have taken numerous awards at the Province level (from highest chapter GPA, individual member GPA, and others for their community service programs), and been recognized for their achievements. Brothers, our chapter is still on the yard and doing great things.
