The Ghostly Saint (Pahadi Shareef) In the twelfth century, a recluse from Baghdad made his way to the Deccan and found peaceful haven., Hazrath Syedna Baba Sharfuddin Soharwadi lived in a cave on hill which is still known by his name, Pahadi Shareef.. According to the legend, associated with the saint Baba Sharfuddin, he lived in solitude in a secluded prayer-focused life for nine years.He blended with the culture and practices of the local people. and he began to serve the residents of that area.
