The Grand Budapest Hotel, a funny film with great characters played by great actors, well worth seeing. Set in the interwar years, the film centres on the eponymous hotel, its savvy concierge Gustave (Fiennes) and his new lobby boy Zero Moustafa, who progresses from naive apprentice to Gustave’s trusted accomplice. The guile of both is tested when one of Gustave’s most favoured guests (a heavily camouflaged Tilda Swinton) bequeaths him a priceless painting, thereby arousing the suspicions of Edward Norton’s detective Henckels. Their ensuing adventures propel the story along at a heady pace and involve numerous roguish characters
