The Grand Budapest Hotel is one the best films Ive seen in 2014. This is also one of the most original films Ive ever seen. Every moment of this film from the introduction to the conclusion was spectacular. Wes Andersons direction and writing is absolutely brilliant and remarkable. The storyline is fantastic and intriguing. The characters are unique and extraordinary and the cinematography is absolutely beautiful and artistic-looking. This is a wonderful masterpiece of a film that engrossed truly engrossed me in every way. The pacing is swift and gets to the point. The movie is also very funny with its quirkiness. Its a film that makes me laugh but at same time always captivates me without losing my interest. Every single scene of this film was made with such art and care. Its made by someone who knows to create film as a beautiful work of art but at the same time uses that artistic style to make such incredible characters with unique personalities and knows how to entertain the hell out of you. Its a quirky, beautiful, and original ride of a film. Everything was original and pure magnificent all across the border. I couldnt take my eyes off of this film at all, it hits every note and the performances are terrific. This is a star-studded film that did not feel wasted at all and Ralph Fiennes gives one of the best performances Ive ever seen. This really is one of the best films Ive seen this year and it doesnt disappoint me at all. I give this film my Perfect/Excellent rating.
