The Graz International Summer School Seggau, Austria Deadline : 28 February 2015 Open to : Students from from around the world Venue : 28 June - 11 July 2015, Seggau Castle/Leibnitz (Austria) The Graz International Summer School Seggau is designed for internationally oriented, highly motivated students from all disciplines, who wish to deepen their understanding of current European and international affairs by studying and discussing global developments and challenges within the context of transformation processes and demographic change reflecting aspects of individual, social, political, religious, cultural, literary, regional, economic, cohort and national identities. Topic of this years Summer School: Shifting Perspectives: Europe and the Americas 5 GOOD REASONS TO APPLY : 1. 2-week summer university with a campus atmosphere at Seggau Castle 2. 6 ECTS credits (for participation and seminar paper) 3. Lectures, panel discussions and 6 parallel seminar modules (small groups) 4. Discussions and networking opportunities with international lecturers and guests 5. All-inclusive-package (tuition, meals, accommodation, extra-curricular program and field trips) Eligibility The summer school is for advanced students in their second term, students with a bachelor degree or students working on their final thesis. Students from all faculties are welcome to apply. Cost The total student participation fee is € 1.300,00 covering course costs, tuition, room & board (double or triple rooms, 3 meals per day), and excursions for the entire two weeks. Please check the list below as various scholarship schemes are available that you might qualify for. There are special arrangements for students A. from universities in the following South-Eastern European countries : Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Greece. --> Participation fee: € 400,00 B. from the following CEEPUS Partner Institutions in the Network CIII-AT-0503-03-1314 Inter-American Studies : University of Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv University, Palacky University, University of Zagreb, University of Pecs, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi, University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, University of Ljubljana.
