The Haunted Happenings Guests who attended the ghost hunts at the weekend had some amazing experiences and witnessed some spooky activity. A brief summary from the weekends events below: The Cutthroat Weekend The Infamous Cutthroat weekend certainly lived up to expectations. Leaving the comfort of the Jamaica Inn we headed down to Bodmin Jail in the middle of a freak electrical storm brilliant to see but just a bit scary. During our time at the jail table tipping on the upper levels was very active whilst in the lower levels K2 spikes, intelligent taps and some scary moments as the atmosphere became heavy, footsteps heard and some pungent smells. For night two of the weekend, Jamaica Inn gave us some daunting activity with some known spirits of the inn showing themselves whilst mirror scrying, in the old bedrooms, the museum gave us many shadows unexplained lights, voices and k2 responses. Once again a fantastic weekend was had by all at these two very haunted Cornish locations. The Nottingham 3 in 1 night The Galleries of Justice 3 locations in 1 night was everything we hoped it would be. The Cave under the prison was unusually quiet but the cell area was extremely active with a violent spirit challenging our guests. The courtroom gave us some great Ouija Board activity and the guests in the Women’s bedroom heard the sound of somebody sitting on the bed. This is a truly haunted location and I know that the Caves and the Police Station did not disappoint either with both locations experiencing a lot of great paranormal activity. The police station have us some very interesting activity, with the K2 responding to our questions & a torch confirming the same. Shadows Moving clearly around us & guests being touched throughout the night. The bench moving with 2 people sitting still was left unexplainable & the definite sound of 2 firecrackers going off on 2 separate occasions outside one cell left us bewildered as to how that could happen. With the final vigil of all the guests trying to squeeze through one door way with them all still holding hands because of the definite shuffling that was heard by all completed a very active night in the police station. What a fantastic night at The Nottingham Caves. Guests experienced tappings, footsteps, being touched and amazing light show with the K2s, Maglites and flashing balls. Also black shadows were seen moving around. The Caves again proved to be a place well worth investigating. Well done everyone! Spooky Nights Gresley Old Hall Our first investigation at gresley hall did not let us down. Our first group vigil in the relic room set the scene for the rest of the night, smells, k2 readings and guests being touched. The main vigils produced some amazing experiences on 3 separate occasions footsteps were heard and at one point the Franks box was being used with also a full conversation going on. What has to be the highlight of the night was a voice coming over the Franks box saying goodbye almost immediately Michele came downstairs and asked if anyone had just walked up the stairs to the next floor. This is a great location and one i would recommend to all. Tatton Old Hall Tatton Hall definitely delivered some amazing results with lots of spikes on the K2 meters (even outside in the grounds), several people being touched on the same finger during an experiment and an incredible message on the Ouija board with details which were startling to one of the guests. A brilliant group of ghost hunters and a truly haunted location - the perfect combination. A fantastic night of ghost hunting at this amazing location. The Abandoned Hospital All teams experienced some form of paranormal activity throughout the event in the 4 vigil areas that we investigated. As we were all coming up from the basement 2 guests saw the ghost of a girl run up the stairs. Great guests well done.
