The Hills Shire Council is looking for two dogs suspected of "viciously mauling" a pair of Cocker Spaniels at a property on Pitt Town Rd, Kenthurst on Sunday afternoon. "The owners of the property returned home to find two dogs- that appeared to be American Staffordshire Terriers- roaming their property. One of the dogs was grey and white and wearing a black studded collar, the other was light brown," council said in a statement. "After directing the dogs off their property, the owners of the property noticed that their two Cocker Spaniels had been viciously mauled. One of the dogs is undergoing surgery for a broken leg." If you spot the animals, do not approach. Phone the council’s Community Safety Team on 9843 0555.
